Here's a good read, landward has done plenty on lack of fish in our rivers in recent years too

Also, not one mention of salmon farming in here. Trees are undoubtedly part of the answer, but to not mention salmon farming seems willfully negligence from the guardian

Adding back the tree cover will definitely help.

On a much smaller scale you can see how quickly pollenators bounce back in your own garden if you let even a small area grow wild. Good for the whole garden.
