This is ridiculous.

The answer here is to call all the press, swear yourself in publicly on camara and get to work.

Years and years of this bullshit where Dems go "mommy they aren't following the ruuules!" Yeah no shit. And are you gonna do something about it?

I suppose they can do that as soon as the House is back in session. Until then I'm guessing there's not much consequence other than Mike Johnson being a shithead and the opportunity to call him one.

The answer is to impeach leaders that are absent for 6 weeks(ideally earlier)
