RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world

"smtms" really hurts my brain lol
Turning off all screens an hour before bed is a good start.
Drink something warm. Crank one out. Count to 100.
Is there any light entering your room? A sleep mask is great for that. One less sense to distract you.
It's amazing how often this series is relevant even all these years later.
"smth" is my least favorite of the bunch. I always read it as the acronym "shaking my tiny head"
Haha pardon me😅 i personally picked up these habits when texting as fast as possible hehe
And yeah light and sound thing messes u up, the thing is i live in a noisy place but in summers the fan kinda numbs it out, however winters are coming and no fan so i just keep waking up even if i do fall asleep amidsr all that noise, i found and ordered a random pair of earplugs online that might help, i dont understand how ppl arnd me sleep thru all light nd noise😅
Hahaha I meant no offense, I just kept reading it as "symptom"
