Preface: you're entirely correct.

2019 Elon was an asshole who called people pedos, cared more about the aethetics of the factory floor than worker safety, manipulated stock value by blatantly lying, fought unionization, and attacked whistleblowers.

While I think Elon is one now, a Nazi isn't just a ruthless capitalism or human cum stain. There is lot more to it.
