A thankyou to the help I've received here.

Phone looks and feels great.

It's android. Not all bank apps are created the same. Some require Google Play services, which Lineage can be installed with or without.

I'm not sure what you mean by auth-type apps. If you're inquiring aboot password managers, Bitwarden doesn't require Google services.

I mean 2 factor authentication apps...you try to open a doc from teams like a Normal human bean, and out pops a window asking for a number to prove you are you. Suddenly your phone vibrates and gives you the number.

That sounds like its sent via SMS.

There are other auth apps such as Aegis on f-droid. No idea what Teams supports though.

Okay cool! I gotta get off the Google train 100% I'm probably at 90%

The Microsoft stuff supports both TOTP (6 digit auth app number) and they also have their own annoying Microsoft outlook 2fa garbage that gets sent to you through the outlook app.

If you install need to install the Microsoft apps, I believe they'd require the Play store. I didn't have any luck installing through the Aurora store. On Android you can utilize the work profile, which I find sufficient for the Microsoft trash.
