"The underlying fact was that the whole position of the moneyed class had long ceased to be justifiable. The existence of these people was by any standard unjustifiable. They were simply parasites, less useful to society than his fleas are to a dog." - George Orwell

Edit: I will keep the original comment below, but basically (content warning for mention of attempted rape), George Orwell was reported to have tried to rape his girlfriend, which was reported in a Guardian article

I just remember Hakim making a video about how George Orwell was a terrible person (though I do not remember what exactly the video talked about).

He was also an anti-communist and a snitch.

and he went on the record to defend Hitler... in 1939. From his review of Mein Kampf (did it really need to be reviewed at all btw???)

Jar Jar Wells compared Hitler to Jesus Christ and Prometheus and ppl get confused why I loathe him.
Also funny to see him do the "if I was on the plane during 9/11 I would've kicked their asses!!1!" thing with Hitler who was still very much alive at the time

He also never went to the Soviet Union as far as I knew, or even had any sources to prove his depictions of the Soviet Union as fact.

Oh, I didn't know about that. I'll have to check it out.
