IF electric cars were so good, we would all be driving them today. The first ever car was electric.

You SERVERELY underestimate the forces terrified of electric. Mechanics, gas companies, and existing auto manufacturers have been lobbying like crazy to prevent the flood gates on them from opening. They require less maintenance and last longer.

China has seen the writing on the wall. Most of their cars are electric. We can't pump Dino juice out of the ground forever and electric is the future. Get with the times or get left behind.

With our current technology, electric cars can not replace their ICE alternatives. In my experience, the best combo is a hybrid unit.
