I mean not to be rude but that is an entirely different sentence and entirely different religion

It's an entirely different religion but the sentence doesn't change that much.

I don’t agree, it would be an entirely different position than what I said. It changes the meaning. If I say white people suck and you say well change white people to black people it’d be an entirely different sentence that I did not say. If I said Islam instead of Mormonism it would have been a different point and that’s why I didn’t say Jews I said fucking Mormons. Don’t put that in my mouth

You're describing the notion where Jews are widely still regarded as oppressed. But it's 2026, not 1944. Jews are no longer oppressed. tariqacknickulous.substack.com/p/no-jews-today-are-not-oppressed

Jews are basically just white people these days. They're very comparable to Mormons in that sense. Likewise, Mormons were also persecuted around the 1850's. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mormonism_and_violence.

what in the fuck are you going on about. I just said you changed my sentence because you did. I said nothing about anyone except Mormons.

…Also your proof is a substack link? You think I’m calling you antisemitic?

[–] geneva_convenience@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

No I'm saying there isn't much difference between the two sentences despite the common perception that there is.

Do that with your own words then ya fuckin weirdo, not mine

I did? I'm just pointing out the discrepancy of what's publicly accepted to say. Comparing Jews to Muslims or Black people is absolutely wild.
