I am stuck in an apartment, I don't see humans much, I miss interacting with humans.

I was thinking maybe a community exist where retired lonely women and men talk to others.

Like a voice call, I think the elderly might have good Insight about life, and would be fun to talk to... I am not that young I am almost 40.

I am a bit slow. I love to have a conversation with people and getting to know them.

So I had no answer for this. Bothered me that I didn't have one. I started thinking damn I'm sure there are tons of folks in nursing homes that would love to talk to them too.

I started thinking that keeping senior's company on the phone has to be a real gig somewhere, and it turns out people are definitely doing it. The biggest company I found is called "Papa," but it seems like they want you to run in-person errands too. Idk didn't dig too deep.

I also came across Vantage Aging's Telecare program, which looks a lot more reasonable if you just want to make calls, though keep in mind it appears to be volunteer work unlike Papa and others. I do want to state the obvious, though: because of their age, these relationships are all sad endings waiting to happen.
