I was green for awhile but after booting windows for the first time in 4 months to use a scanner it started syncing my files with one drive without my permission (I never set this up). I did a hard shutdown and that was it.

ReactOS can vaguely work, but since it can't really run anything, it's of limited usefulness.

An open source os built off the windows nt kernel. It doesn't necessarily work the best, not necessarily the most ready, but it's very cool.
