tbh imho we should be good for quite some time now. for windows there's too many legacy industrial stuff that can't run on tightly restricted ios-ish environments. for android, maybe someone figures out a good enough workaround.. or we all switch to custom roms

i have slackware 15 on all, it's great how i can just copy over binaries and they just run because all the linked libraries are the same version

in some cases where they have good enough info about you already (creating from an android phone that isn't "fishy" enough, etc), you can create a google acc without associating a phone number, at least it's not shown on the google account info menu.

i'd say only use if if you do nothing else other than that game on the machine, maybe have a separate OS install for it.

is this iceape-uxp or something? would appreciate if you share some links or info :) seamonkey seems to have a lot of compatibility issues lately, i have to use firefox for most stuff these days :(

the tab bar on the top also looks pretty interesting, i don't think i can do that on seamonkey..

nope, they switched to proton from photon around 2023 iirc
