Aston Martin has reached the god tier of sand bagging. Saturday theyโ€™ll turn the switch from bad vibes to good vibes and qualify front row.

Wow huge off for Verstappen. I think those were the bargeboards flying off?

I thought it might be part of the rear diffuser. Hope they have some spare underfloors given the amount of people going through the gravel. :)

Turn 3 taking names. I didnโ€™t get a chance to watch fp1, but in fp2 the Ferrari didnโ€™t look like anything special. Also it seemed like everyone was sliding off the track. I know practice is for finding the limits, but seems like more offs than usual. Did fp1 have as much carnage?

Fp1 didn't have that much, a couple but if you watch broadbent on YouTube he did a comparison in the sim of the last gen cars vs one based on the new regs. Seems like this year the cars are way more twitchy than last year's and they seem more likely to lock the front during breaking which tracks with pre season testing.

Quali should be good if they're still learning where the limits are.

Happy to see Doohan back on F1TV and in the paddock with Haas. He's a great orator.

Before the session started.
