and for Israel

[–] Walk_blesseD@piefed.blahaj.zone 44 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I wish all deceased United States and Israeli combatants in the invasion of Iran a very RIP bozo.

[–] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 13 points 1 day ago (21 children)

Americans are very much not for the invasion, and outright protesting it.

[–] RickyRigatoni@piefed.zip 23 points 1 day ago (1 children)

We're not talking about americans in general, we're talking about people who knowingly signed up to murder children for oil.

Just the stuff you can find, that has certain implications. Good luck getting anything thanks to this propaganda war.

There was also some warships toilets getting sabotaged and clogged iirc.

A bit immature, but seeing the video compilation they made recently, the governement functions at the same mental level of a 12yo on a monster energy binge, so it might be the correct way to address them.

Idk, i don't really feel bad for terrorists

[–] unexposedhazard@discuss.tchncs.de 24 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Its actually such a disaster that the only way to appeal to the average US citizen is to make them worry about their own people. Brown people in the middle east just dont have worth i guess?

[–] FatVegan@leminal.space 13 points 1 day ago

And gas prices. Blowing up brown people is a bonus

Most of the time, terrorists exist because the Epstein class bombed their family members.

Edit: Which is not relevant here because I misunderstood that OP was saying that the American military are terrorists.

[–] Rekorse@sh.itjust.works 4 points 23 hours ago* (last edited 23 hours ago) (1 children)

The epstein class hasnt bombed white folk in america, yet. The OP was calling american military members terrorists.

[–] FlyingCircus@lemmy.world 2 points 21 hours ago

Oh yeah, you're right. I misunderstood that one.

Why did she? Seems like a case of FAFO.

[–] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 25 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (2 children)

Seems like a case of bait-and-switch.

She was a reservist, meaning she was told she'd be training on weekends and working her regular job during the week. It should be illegal to send reservists to these wars of choice, but Dubya changed that during the War on Terror because no one wanted to go to Iraq and Afghanistan to die.

And I'm not comfortable blaming the soldiers just yet, when all the evidence we have is that the military and joint chiefs (sans Keg-Breath) told Donald not to do this and he told them to fuck themselves and did it anyway.

[–] FlyingCircus@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago (4 children)

In this day and age, if you sign up for the military you know there is a high chance you will be sent to a foreign country that did nothing to us to kill brown children to distract from the fact that our leaders are raping other children.

Or you would know it if the USA wasn't the most propagandized place on the face of the earth.

And then his buddy Putin gave the American military targets to Iran, then convinced Trump to remove the sanctions on Russian oil.

So Trump starts a war that jacks up oil prices, and firms up the markets for Russia and Tesla, making Putin and Musk the big winners.

Did you know that recruiters LIE?

Imagine being broke and struggling through college. You get an email from a recruiter - they have access to the university’s entire mailing of course - telling you that all you have to do is show up to a few weeks of boot camp, and do drill on the weekend.

You’re 18, and don’t know that recruiters are not just allowed to sell you up the river, but encouraged to. It seems like a nice alternative to student loan hell debt and living off jars of peanut butter.

I do ASVAB prep occasionally, which I have mixed feelings about, and have a client who I’ve just gotten to being able to borrow when subtracting. Do you think he’s equipped to make an intelligent choice when a recruiter promises him the world?
