Jesus thinks the borders of nations are real things we must mutilate one another for transgressing in the pursuit of a better life right?
The whole point of the story of Jesus is migrants are bad and must never be empowered right?
At this point, it just had to be so they can make concentration canps, right? I mean, the US economy absolutely needs migrant labor to keep things going and help the demographics of an aging population. We should be giving visas out like Oprah giving out cars.
No one does, not really. The people just want someone else to blame for their own failings. And, the politicians exploit that for their personal gain.
People care because they've been lied to that A: crime is out of control and B: immigrants are the perpetrators.
So they care but only because their worldview is so distorted.
