MODERATORS

Hello Lemmy users!

I'm moderator of two communities which I want to move from where they are for various reasons.
My first option is to take them over the instance I'm, but I don't know if this will be the best option.
The second option is to move to another instance, but I should move there too.

What do you guys think? or what do you recommend ? Gime your thoughts.

Lemmy.ca is a nice instance. It can be easier for you to manage it from your main account.

I just tried the Piefed migration feature, it's nice, but as said in the other comment, your posts and comments won't show up on the new community on Lemmy, only on Piefed (they would still show up on the old locked community on Lemmy, have a look at this post, it's more clear: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/45876492)

Yeaaa I did read about pfied and the whole thing, looks nice. Maybe I should move them where I'm for now and see what Happens in the feature.

I don't have any experience with Piefed, but it does seem they have a migrate community option, albeit historical posts are only viewable with a Piefed account.
