ICE demanded Google give everything they had on a pro Palestine, Black, student, journalist, non-American who used to live in the USA, and Google did so without notifying said individual, which seems to be the kicker here.

His name is Amandla Thomas-Johnson, and here is a story from last year explaining that he's in the crosshairs of ICE because he attended a protest on campus in the USA.
