This is a community for discussion, news, and memes pertaining to the video game sub-genre "soulslike".
Given Lemmy's size, the definition of soulslike may be treated relatively loosely. While games like the numerous FromSoft titles, the recent Star Wars Jedi games, Lies of P, Nioh and similar games should be the focus, games that incorporate soulslike elements - like Hollow Knight and Blasphemous, for example - may also be discussed here.

Where were you in 2013-ish when I was stumbling around in the dark and cursing life?
I was using the bonfire at the bottom of the Great Hollow before getting the Lordvessel.
That happened to me RECENTLY. I've done multiple playthroughs too and just wasn't paying attention. Whoops.
Oh no! That climb is harsh.
The worst enemy in blighttown was the framerate.
My stupid ass spent two hours running through Tomb in the pitch black memorizing everything in the dark before a chatter finally told me to use the torch.
Absolutely loved my first play through.
Guys? Are you sure it's the dark's fault and you can't just? See?
BlightTown, Anor London, and Sens Fortress were almost a breeze. I was more afraid than I needed to be. Yet I still haven't been able to get through the Tomb...
