Food becoming increasingly less affordable is a positive outcome, yes.

Sure, nobody needs to eat fish, but this also applies to farming. It's getting more expensive by the day. Tractors take fuel, fertilizer is unaffordable, etc.

Killing fish is not necessary like you said. I understand there is negative effects but that’s not really related to my comment nor the article.

Well, it's one more type of food getting significantly more expensive from reduced supply. One that's significantly healthier than, say, pork.

For the human. There are some important nutrients for which fish or fish oil is the easiest source, making it a pretty healthy thing to eat occasionally.
