It's so funny to me (in a depressing way) that the known outcome of destroying the planet doesn't move the needle away from fossil fuels much, but one crazy guy starting a war and demonstrating obvious market volatility sends all the people previously unconcerned into a race to install solar capacity. I won't complain about the outcome but the motivations are so selfish and short sighted that it's really hard to cheer for.

The problem is fossil fuels have way deeper pockets to pay bribes, and generally speaking, bribery is legal in the US.
