Almost as many Remain voters died. What makes the difference is the still living Leave voters who changed their mind and the majority of people entering voting age want to Remain.

Eyeballing the graph it looks like about twice as many leave voters have died. Which considering it was something like 64:36 for the over 65s, tracks
