There ARE extremists on both sides, but the entire US political spectrum is so skewed toward the right that these "centrists" are standing JUST outside of the extreme right, and several miles from the closest social democracy proponent, while screaming "DON'T COME ANY CLOSER" to the left, shaking in fear.

- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Centrists are trash
Centrists are conservatives that are afraid of the label. So yea, trash.
Centrists are conservatives that get (just a little) sad when white American mothers get shot in the face by gestspo and called a "stupid bitch" while they die.
I mean tankies are real. They really do exist.
I've encountered a few of them here.
It's just there are way less of them than extremist rights.
Tankies aren't extreme left tho, I'd argue. They're imperialist totalitarians, which isn't exactly left. I'd call them centrists at best, but we all know where totalitarianism leads...
I mean. Yeah. To me they are so far left they went right.
They honestly sound exactly like gryopers to me. Indistinguishable.
