I am very glad to have been born one of this world's largest animals. It must be a terrifying place to be one of the many smaller species out there.
I caught a baby water snake like that, once. Water snakes are particularly "honery" sneks. It was hilarious as he reared back and sank his teeth into my thumb and started tearing back and fourth to try and rip it off. His lil teeth and mouth were so small I literally couldn't feel it. Much less could he break the skin, but oh man was the lil guy trying his best.
So smol and cute!!π
I hope it had a great life of hunting ahead of it!

I had to rescue a teenage one running for the hills when I was moving last week.
Go fuck up some bugs, lil Kaiju.
