Substack, but a very good introduction to the puppet masters behind Epstein, the Epstein Class and the current escalations in the Middle East.

Excerpt:

Most Americans have never heard of the Mega Group. And that’s exactly what the members of the Mega Group want.

In 1991 — the same year Ghislaine Maxwell’s father, Israeli asset Robert Maxwell, fell from his yacht into the Atlantic and was buried in Jerusalem with six heads of Israeli intelligence in attendance — two North American billionaires quietly founded what they called the Study Group. These men were Leslie Wexner, […]

Correction.

Putin funded the island. Putin has thousands of hours of some of the most vile and disgusting behavior possible by human beings on tape - you'll notice those who do his bidding have stories they do not want shown to the public. Putin, not jews, not catholics, not muslims, not any other hairbrained cult - putin.

Putin has literally thousands of hours of film he is using as kompromat on some of the richest and most politically powerful men (and women) in the world.

[–] kingofras@lemmy.world 4 points 6 days ago (2 children)

I think of Putin just as the opportunistic head of the Russian oligarchy.

So by Putin you mean Russia sure, but I haven’t seen any sources claiming Russia owns or funded the island for Jeff?

You’re right on the kompromat though, there is far more entanglement between Russia and Israel than they both let on. The 2 intelligence communities have been close since at least the 90s and constructing an ‘Epstein’ would be right up their alley, and benefit them both.

Sometimes it has come out by accident, but they both have put their money where their mouth is.

Of course this is all conjecture, but the shoe fits from multiple angles that Jeff was working for the IIC in some capacity, and that the Russians would have been able to ‘order’ specific compromat via IIC.

Benjamin is also known to be very good pals with Vladdy, despite the Russian-Iranian posture would have you believe. And Vladdy is very pro-Jewish weather that is because his time at the KGB told him that’s how you survive in this world, or genuine.

Highly recommend the 2 volumes from the article by Whitney Webb, One Nation Under Blackmail, Volumes 1 and 2. Trine Day, 2022. She’s so thorough, each day I see her talk, I wonder how she’s still alive.

Putin is the defacto head of the Russian mob, having been promoted from KGB officer to president of Russia. Putin is behind 90% of the world's turmoil. If he died the world would settle down within months.

I said putin funded it. Not Russia. And see what leverage that 5 billion dollar outlay has given him. Trump, dozens of republican congressmen (or more), red state governors, the wealthy to include ALL of them apparently (kraft, gates, dell(?), and a litany of fascist supporters...

Whitney Webb, One Nation Under Blackmail, Volumes 1 and 2. Trine Day, 2022

I keep seeing that book pop up and have never read it, so this time I went looking. I was only looking for the goodreads info but turns out it's available as a legit download from archive.org, both volumes in one pdf (1136 pages) for anyone interested:

https://archive.org/details/one-nation-under-blackmail-vol-1-2-whitney-alyse-webb_202401

I don't know if I'll have enough time to get through it soon, but at least I can skim it and don't have to buy or borrow it. Thanks for the timely reminder.

Uhhhhhhhh yeah he sure was...

[–] kingofras@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago

The point of the article and what the title is trying to say is

Jeff came from nothing to a very lot very suddenly. Follow the money. Nobody goes from nothing to billionaire that quickly.

[–] workerONE@lemmy.world 15 points 1 week ago (2 children)

His estate was valued at $577 million

[–] kingofras@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago (1 children)

The headline is stupid, the article is a laser beam of truth

[–] ChunkMcHorkle@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

It really is. This is excellent. Thank you for taking the time to post it.

[–] bedwyr@piefed.ca 7 points 1 week ago

He had money hidden away too you can bet, as a tax avoidance specialist. Dude was a billionaire even if the authorities didn't admit it.

[–] bedwyr@piefed.ca 7 points 1 week ago

Epstein was a billionaire. He was a tax avoidance specialist, as well as an Israeli Intelligence agent running the largest most successful honeypot in the history of the world, I presume.

Brad Edwards, the lawyer for many of the Florida victims, said much the same thing in a 2024 podcast interview (emphasis mine):

Everybody asked the question, where did Jeffrey Epstein get his money? Forget that question. What did Jeffrey Epstein do for a living? All he did was sex trafficking. That's all he did. There's no legitimate business that he did. Now we ultimately found out that he was just a a high level grifter, con artist off of other billionaires, but mainly on a day-to-day basis he was only concerned with sexual abuse and sex trafficking.

I highly recommend the entire three-part interview: Brad Edwards was one of the attorneys sued by Jeffrey Epstein, and Edwards sued Epstein back for defamation and won. He was also the attorney who took the Epstein victims' CVRA case to federal court to get the non-prosecution (sweetheart deal) overturned, and won. But he does not often give interviews, and I wish he would.

For what it's worth I think this is the same episode where Edwards describes how every time he (Edwards) met with the FBI about Epstein-related evidence, he'd get a direct call from Jeffrey Epstein the same day, sometimes immediately after, describing the contents of the meeting. Edwards brings the receipts of his own multiple and overt experiences of Epstein's informants in the FBI. That knowledge of how lousy with informants the feds are makes the SDNY arrest and investigation of Epstein even more miraculous than it already seems.

AI ass article. The content might be good but its still AI slop

[–] ChunkMcHorkle@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

That AI has nothing to do with this article is self-evidently obvious, from the very first paragraph.

More importantly, it addresses propaganda head-on from the first word, something AI will never do. It is also meticulously sourced and footnoted with real sources, another thing AI can't seem to manage. The proofs of authenticity are there for anyone who cares enough to look.

But that's not you. You didn't care enough to look. And for someone that admittedly uses AI themselves, it's hard to understand how you would be completely unable to spot obvious human authorship.

Also, you should know I've been through this before, so before you come at me personally for "being AI" take a long look at my post history, and the thousands of very long and intricate posts I write all by myself.

This article is very clearly not AI. So why do you need people to think that it is?

[–] sumsinj@lemmy.world -1 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I don't know what you are on about, the author writes 1-2 of these articles per day and that is just not a speed at which you can write articles with that density of citations. I use AI because I am fucking tired of reading AI slop articles by someone who wants me to sell AI thoughts as their own.

But here you are just saying "AI won't do this" as your sole reason why you and the article are not AI. Show me where the annoying frequency of "it's not this – it's that" in that article is human made. yea sure human can do that too, but when I look up articles from websites with an AI policy vs no AI policy there are often two distinct differences: the frequency of articles by a single author And the usage of "it's not this – it's that" and m-dashes, because they don't follow that pattern in every damn paragraph and use m-dashes are completly different places most of the time.

Bot behaviour to defend youself not being a bot btw.

[–] ChunkMcHorkle@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

you are just saying “AI won’t do this” as your sole reason why you and the article are not AI.

So what I wrote was too long and you didn't read it, so you puked forth defensive nonsense to deflect? Suits me.

Everyone else can see it for what it is. My post history will stay up, as will the above author's extensive list of citations, as well as their Substack, meaning that anyone who wants to can see for themselves that you both exaggerate and outright lie -- I mean, above and beyond being a hypocrite who will blast someone else for supposedly using AI while you use it yourself.

I will also note the author does not post as frequently as Heather Cox Richardson, who also writes her own daily and completely non-AI articles. With citations.

And by the way, it's em-dash, not m-dash. I don't use em-dashes. I use -- these. Hit the source button. See it for yourself. An em-dash does not an AI article make, and mine are not even those.

If you don't want to read AI slop, then don't. But you did not read it here. Have a nice day.

[–] sumsinj@lemmy.world -2 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Bro says I can't read when I say "the authors use of m-dashes" and thinks I mean you.
