in context of fortnites crowd, probably not. historically, it was with the top of marvels strongest IP alongside X-Men, Spiderman and to a side extent, the Hulk, before the MCU. the F4 unfortunately has been butchered in the modern times several times over and over again.
in retrospect, some people dont realize how much nobodies Marvel had. the sole reason why Disney owns it now is because Marvel was struggling in the 90s, and Sony only bought movie rights for the popular IP (for better or for worse)

Fortnite is one big ad platform and it’s really sad watching other games descend into being nothing but advertising platforms. It’s even sadder watching others pay for the ads.
There's one positive with it.
Almost every character model gets imported to xcom 2. So you can play as pretty much any team you can imagine against aliens.
Paying for ads while fighting bots.
I don't think I've ever played fortnight, and the crass, advertisement, nature of it is extremely off-putting.
I also don't think I've ever paid money for a skin in a video game
