Why are there videos of this in the first place? Surely not to prove that guards acted wrongly, because in this case, strangely enough, the evidence always seems to disappear.
If the identity and privacy of the person being searched can be protected, I think there should be video, to help prevent abuse by the person doing the searching.
Yes, of course. But the evidence must also be presented to the court in an unaltered form, which seems increasingly unlikely these days in the US, where even the Attorney General is no longer doing things as they should be done.
But what prevents abuse of the video like in this case? I wouldn't want a naked video of me floating around out there. It's not like prison guards are known for being super honest either. It must feel super violating and even more so to have it filmed.
