It's not only the orange guy. The 'Oh no, look' guy isn't helpful either. If people don't react correctly, the behavior should be adjusted.

Also realistically nobody except centrists have any actual ideas on what to do about it. And even the centrists' main idea is mostly "be more centrist, assholes". Which totally would work, but is not very actionable for the problematic people.
This applies just as well to Israel's increasingly violent ethno-Fascism ending up in a Genocide about to turn into a new Holocaust, as it applies to the US' empoverishment, explosion of inequality and collapse of social mobility which together with the domination of various pillars of Democracy by the moneyed elites made the election of a Fascist Populist a certainty.
The toon on the right is obviously a US-style Liberal - the last part ("Too late now, nothing we can do") is especially telling.
Israel started as a genocidal state, it continued as a genocidal state, and it still is a genocidal state. Settler Colonialism is genocide.

My point is about Israel's "evolution" toward a Genocidal nation with levels of violence and rabid racism similar to Nazi Germany, from the generic "19th-Century White Colonialism" model they started with.
With that "Hitler clock", this cartoon is pretty much a perfect representation of how Israel has changed over time from run-of-the-mill white colonialist nation to its current state a ultra violent rabbid ethnostate just about to commit their own version of the Holocaust by starving Gazans, and of the reactions of mainstream Western politicians to both Israel's "evolution over time" and it's current state.
Thankfully, Orange shit is much older compared to Hitler and will not outlive most of us. Problem is what's coming after and the cleanup.
If you think this ends with trump then good news, you will have no idea whats going to happen in 13 months.

That's funny, I was just coming to comment about remembering when Godwin's law was a thing, and about how I wonder, now, if it helped contribute towards protecting the slow, continual growth of fascist ideology. Nazi thinkers not getting called out on their Nazi thoughts by invoking this made up rule.
