I can comment on .world posts when logged in to sh.itjust.works, but I don't receive replies or even see there is a reply unless I view the page from the .world instance.

It's an ongoing issue of the Fediverse that the Lemmy devs haven't been able to resolve. Some of my posts aren't visible on other instances, and there are some posts from other users that have wildly different number of comments depending on which instance you're viewing it from.

Yeah, their federation is still a bit hit-and-miss.

I can see them, even though I blocked the instance.
