I finished up the Lord of the Rings trilogy today, loved it. Now I'm about a third of the way through a reread of Battle Ground (Dresden Files) so that I can get to Twelve Months, probably starting on Thursday. I also listened to ~40% of the last Alex Verus book, I'll be finishing that in the next two workdays too. This is the one good thing about working night shifts in security.

Man it's probably been over a decade since I played this, for some reason I thought the original version was taken down when it was remade in 3D.
He's not as fast as or faster than the Flash

We have an unspoken agreement where the server exaggeratedly looks away when we hit the "no tip" button before paying so we can all pretend it wasn't there.
It never occurred to me that pdf would come to mean what it does. This is concerning.
Big W good, Woolworths bad. Alright.
This list just proves to me that I have no idea what's going on in other people's heads.
I recently downloaded an emulator and TP with someone else's save just to go fishing in that lake again. Best part of the game. Your next dungeon is pretty interesting too, have fun.
I didn't make it through all of S1 of Invincible (though I've read the comic a couple of times and really wanted to like it), but at one point during a conversation William had two mouths because they pasted the open mouth over the closed one and didn't have it in the right position.
I also noticed in S1 of Gen V during a fight scene you could literally see the seam around characters' faces where they'd been stuck on the stunt actors, so after that I just assume anything from Amazon made recently is going to be sloppy. That was probably the least of Gen V's problems though.
Satisfactory just got an update too. There are a couple of big changes to vehicles that make me want to jump back in. I've been too busy playing FOUNDRY though, which is basically a voxel Satisfactory.
The other day I finished The Two Towers, it was great. Right after that I binged all of Skin Game (Dresden Files 15) in one day which has been my favourite in the series since the first time I read it.
Now I'm just cleaning up a couple of random things I've had on the backburner, then it's Return of the King, Peace Talks and Battle Ground as soon as possible so that I can get to Twelve Months.
Other than that, I've picked up my The Wise Man's Fear audiobook again now that I'm working out regularly again because it was my gym noise back in... wow late 2024. Time flies.
Apparently Michael G Manning's latest book came out a couple of weeks ago too, but I haven't had any luck finding it for some reason, no idea what's happening there 🤷♂️
Australia used to have an inland sea existing 120 to 90 million years ago called the Eromanga Sea
*looks up Eromanga*
Oh no
Since last week's post I've finished Battle Ground (plus Christmas Eve, Little Things, The Law) & Twelve Months from the Dresden Files, and Risen from Alex Verus. That just leaves the last few novellas from both series to cap them off.
After that, it'll be the latest Incryptid book I missed from earlier this year, then I dunno maybe back to finishing Mercy Thompson before taking a break from urban fantasy for a while.
