Piping scripts directly to bash is a security risk

Nobody has ever explained why. What is the difference between executing a script directly from curl, and adding a repository which downloads a package which contains a script.

This might also be the beginning of android.

So far, people have been OK with modifying the existing phones to fit their needs. We're slowly approaching the critical inconvenience point beyond which it might be easier to buy OEM parts and start assembling un-googled phones.
