Being weird is part of their charm

Mine as well hopefully haha.. I was really only familiar with things like the Weird Science theme, Just Another Day, Dead Man's Party.. the hits I suppose, great for me I since a lot is new to me :) I had kind of limited bandwidth for music when I was younger, in that I stuck with a single genre for a good few years at a time I guess and they never made the cut when I was into that type of music but now I can enjoy them all. For example when I was into industrial, KMFDM had an alternate meaning of Kill Mother Fucking Depeche Mode, which I thought was hilarious since I was into more heavy music then, but now I love Depeche Mode and kind of rarely listen to KMFDM, still do though. Anyways lol, yeah I need to check out that newer stuff too thanks

I'm re-discovering them after writing them off as a bit too weird in the 80s, now I absolutely adore it :) I was far too young to really appreciate the musical range and ability then probs, really good and fun

These folks have been getting off on manipulating and controlling people for decades if not longer. High time to recognize and acknowledge the bullshit, all the pain and suffering they have caused in pursuit of freedom which it turns out actually means record profits

As if these game companies have any more ethics than this admin

profit-driven legalisation increases use and harms

Of course, there's all sorts of different extracts now, stuff nearing 90% THC levels for some of the concentrates, a lot of edible products that are not labeled well or in bad packaging, or that people use far too much of the first time. I don't think you can blame any of those things directly on the cannabis personally.

Hehe I am definitely aware of the virtues of fiber, just my dumb humor

I feel you, perhaps check out the show "The Rehearsal" with Nathan Fielder which explores this a bit. And all his other shows while you're at it. There should be stuff like that IRL.

Yeah, I get that, none of those games or movies really glorify that life because what's to glorify really, but it's just the constant exposure to the wanton violence of the game and people's worst instincts kicking in. I don't really have anything against the game or whatever, I will just be interested to see if it's ever studied about how those games affect peoples attitude towards violence and might erode their ethics in some ways such as turning a blind eye to violence going on around them. Just thoughts anyways. I feel the same way about the Battlefield/Modern Warfare games and horror movies that are basically just torture porn with no redeeming social messages or anything. Anyways, I'm probably being way too serious for a game people use to blow off steam but it's worth a discussion probably, for someone, sometime :P

a joyful message for today
