I'm guessing he's stupid or greedy.

Throw in an ad and the service pays for itself.

That is, unless he's renting hardware like a dipshit.

It really doesn't, and certainly not more than running something on AWS.

In fact, hosting on cloud infrastructure adds another layer of complexity.

I stand by my original assertion.

Keep being stupid 👍

The cloud was a scam for people with more money than sense.

Most people hosting things on the cloud, like Fediverse services, would be better off selfhosting and buying the hardware themselves.

Never heard of this, but I love a good game failure.

The system and social contract are on their way out.

Don't spend the next few decades waiting for the collapse. Enjoy your life now and recognize that things will not be getting better.

We have our rulers and their useful idiots to blame. Maybe the next nation can learn from our mistakes and stop worshiping those who have wealth.

Yes. We have to acknowledge democrats keep running "fall in line" candidates and there's a significant amount of people in the US that refuse to play that game.

Bernie would have won.

Why exactly does he need a coup?

The government already does whatever he wants with no pushback.

Yeah, but probably not for the reasons this article pointed out.

That's really badass.

I drive a Tesla.

You got scammed, buddy. Great job.

Man, holding the company financially accountable for all traffic violations would be magnificent.

It's a shame we're too stupid/weak to pull it off.

One thing I'm concerned about is recording equipment leaving identifiable information without us knowing about it.
