By some definition, anything that allows measuring time is a clock. It might be a weird clock, but clock still.

I went immediately "they started making opensource print heads.... since that is huge effort"... Oh it is just a carrier assembly for HP inkcartridges. Sure hack refillable ones, but still the main printing part is from big corporate. Waiting for the moment of "HP implemented backward DRM on their cartridge. HP cartridge only works, if it hears correct attestation from the printer."

This all is based on them hacking a corporate part and that is newer sustainable open hardware route.

Using a print head a maker sells as just "We make printheads, what you do with it after is your business. We exactly sell these as industrial parts from people to build printer around (or whatever other device you have use for ink depositing thingie in)" fine. That is normal.

But "hey we made open inkjet printer". "So you figured the vast tasks of designing and manufacturing inkjet print heads?" "No" "You found a suitable standard industrial part to build around, less amazing, but still okay?" "No" "So what did you figure out or provide to table?" "We hacked HPs part". Soooo everyone using this is still paying HP tax and who knows HP might shut this whole thing down one way or another.

edit: Not to mention it is not like it is some impossible task to get inkjet printheads, like all legit and so on. One web search later leads for example to KonicaMinolta industrials website for their catalog of "Here we sell just the Inkjet heads, incase you want to make a printer. Here is the spec sheet how to run it."

4 way valve is 4 way exactly so the compressor can essentially switch sides on the cycle. It also shifts around where the expansion valve is located in cycle. thus switching the tasks of the inside and outside radiators/heatexchangers.

AC is a heatpump. pumping heat from inside to outside. "Heatpump" is also a heatpump. pumping from outside in. The only difference is fluid flow direction.

Hence only thing needed to turn one to other is 4 way valve changing the flow direction/order of refrigerant.

These days atleast in Europe, good luck finding "heat pump", that doesn't have 4 way selector valve. Early on there was single direction heat pumps and cooling was extra feature only on upmarket models. These days it is "oh right it also has cooling, handy". The valve is not that expensive, so it is pretty standard by now.

At cost of causing decades long split between USA and allies. There is no take backsies on openly threatening to invade and annex an ally. Not even for the next POTUS and POTUS after that.

Mainly the guestion in Europe has been/is Where is the rest of the USA. Rest of the USA didn't stop this guy, so all of USA is not to be trusted. Either due to not caring or due to not being able to curtail the POTUS. Doesn't really matter which the reason is, end result is the same. USA is a 4 year electoral absolute monarchy and such governance can't be trusted for long term alliance. Since it resets potentially every 4 years.

Just get an e-bike then. and if one has problems with ones balance, ones legs or ones hands. Some people can't operate a two wheeler. Is it a niche vehicle? Yes. However even niche vehicles have their place.

You answered it yourself. Good enough is good enough and quantity has quality of it's own. Specially when it comes to artillery munitions. Most likely USA wasn't willing to hand over the technical package for PrSM. Too new and valuable (classified etc.).

Germany didn't want just access to the munition on terms and timelines USA sets, they wanted independent capability to make them. See recent cases of "ohhh whooopsie we shot lot of our missiles. Remember that delivery date we promised you. Well that is delayed. Need to stock up national stockpiles first."

Good enough missiles available on schedule one controls are better than amazing missiles that don't arrive on time to be useful.

Denmark cares.... what with to the point of 500+ extra ordinarily deployed anti invasion troops having been deployed since January. A battalion sent, not to defend from Russia, but from USA.

The airborne unit got alert status. Europe didn't know is it flying to minnesota or Greenland. Runway cratering charges and blocking trucks were driven to runway side. Blood plasma and non-training amounts of hard war munitions.

All of USA will be for decades to come be held responsible for not curtailing POTUS. Doesn't matter Democrat, Republican or Independent. First response after first threat was not immediate impeachment, that makes nearly all of USA population culpable. Minus the small group of people who actually dropped what was going on in their life and kept actual on going protest over this. Not just one weekend hand washing march participation. Actual on going "I'm making serious personal sacrifices over this" levels of action and protest.

Well issue is Denmark can't ignore it, nor can it's allies. Though maybe Americans can take a "sooo what about Epstein" stance. Atleast followed with strict enough protesting. Like ehhh the kind that would get POTUS deposed. both for Epstein and for threatening to invade and annex sovereign nation.

Then again when does it get bad enough, Epstein is the distraction from USA's threat to invade occupy and annex another sovereign nation.

For peoples information Denmark maintains currently a battallion of anti-invasion troops on Greenland. That is how much no sovereign nation can take threats of "we gonna invade and occupy" lightly. Atleast given what force posture of USA and Greenland are.

Whatever desperation Putin has before using Nukes it is nothing compared to how desperate his situation would be after. It is not west he needs to be concerned then. It is India and China. Both have made clear Nukes are not to be used.

Russian economy would collapse, if China and India cut ties. Not to mention China might just walk over the eastern border and come clean house with and in Russia for their insolence of not heeding Peking. It's 140 million person country vs. 1 billion person country and PLA isn't any more the "every third guy gets actual rifle" people's resistance army.

He would put himself and most likely his family and children at risk. Since using nukes like that is the level of thing where ruthless country like China absolutely would come for the culprit and their family. Since "you might not care about your life anymore old man, but we are pretty sure you care about your children and grand children".

Medieval (quite literally). "Yeah, we snatched your grand child as hostage." You behave now and they might life.

The EU proposal actually talks about this. ICC has no jurisdiction over Crime of Agression. Actual starting of the war. Since by accident/intentionally nobody gave ICC that jurisdiction/ Russia is hardly going to volunteer to agree to give it jurisdiction

ICC can handle the individual war crimes, crimes against humanity.
