I thought I was being clever buying wallpaper while I had the money for it, but I didn't think of the return period so I can't return the excess roll. 50 quid I'll never see again! Please share your gripe with me

I forgot my USB dock when travelling so I had to get a USB-A to USB-C adapter to be able to use my mouse. Definitely minor.

I took my macbook on holiday along with a bunch of movies to watch on USB stick.

Didn't take my dongle. Couldn't watch any movies.

I'm not a Mac user (and don't know any Mac users) so ... what's a "dongle" in this context?

Well in this case I meant closer to a hub, but something that converts the USB-C ports on the mac to other ports, including USB-A for the flash drive.

I left that at home, so I was unable to plug the flash drive in.

Dongle itself is a kinda broad catch-all term https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dongle
