Yes, but Sean Combs is the name they use in court. It’s situational!
That is because it is a legal proceeding which uses legal names unless the judge allows for an exception.

I just googled that too. Apparently he made the change to P Diddy in 2001 after being acquitted of guns and bribery cases to signify he was turning over a new leaf.
He dropped the P in 2005.
Iirc, the name change was because he wanted a name that sounds less gay.
