Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

Hey look, I'm part of this statistic! I think, assuming it factors in used EV sales.
Loving it so far, I get free charging at work and access to the HOV lane as a solo driver. My commute has gone down by about 15 minutes as well.
You are not - it's year over year sales of new EVs.
Congrats anyway on getting an electric. I've been surprised at how little stress it's been, given how much emphasis has been placed on the downsides. I definitely won't be going back to gas.
Can confirm, I've also refused to get a Tesla and have a smaller EV (Peugeot 208) and listening to reviews etc you'd think they're unusable due to the "tiny" range but it's not been my experience at all. In practice as long as you stay on top of your charging at home/street you're never gonna have to charge it in daily life. We've done a couple long trips with it too and it's a bit more stopping but totally manageable as well, in fact very enjoyable,I get to destination much more refreshed since I'm stopping more and the driving assistance makes the highway a breeze.
