There’s just something about this whole thing that feels gross and regressive. It’s celebrity space tourism, being presented as a “feminist” action because it’s all women. Amanda Nguyen and Aisha Bowe are actual scientists at least, but this isn’t really being done for science.

There’s just something gross about something being presented as a “Women in STEM” thing, when it’s mostly a self congratulatory bit. “First fully female crew since the Soviets!” but this is literally just an advertisement because Bezos and co. want space tourism to be a thing.

Totally agree. But feminism was co-opted and rendered subservient to capital a long time ago...

It's women being paraded around as marketing tools for a company owned/controlled by a man
