These are kinds of parents who constantly show off how "happy" and "great" their family is but abuse their kids behind closed doors.

Yep, these kids have to be told to smile in a photo, and they have a lot of practice at fake smiles. A couple kids obviously cant wait to escape these lunatics.

I feel like thats the wife's greatest quality, good fake smile.

100% my first thought.

People who pop off all the time on social media about their family, I just assume, are hiding at minimum some deep, deep sadness.

Second thought was that it really sucks that Hegseth has procreated so much.

i don't think anyone is born evil. we are all products of the traumas we endure. i have no idea who the fuck this family is but if this situation is as fucked as everyone here is saying it is it's more likely two of them will receive the care and help they need to not turn out horrible
