Too many folks have a parasocial relationship with the likes of that fucking squirrel, and too vested in Great Man Theory and are effectively anti-historical-materialism.

It is very simple, if Iran did not have leverage then their 10-point-plan wouldn't look the way it did.

If one then starts reading Clausewitz' On War and Manoel on Western Christianity then it becomes painfully obvious what doomerism here is - westernised projection of the ineffectuality in being both a westerner and an anti-imperialist; the oppressed can only ever be fetishised as losers.
