A country is more than it's government.

What is wrong with America as a country runs far deeper than its government.

American culture is rotten to its core and always has been. That's why the only good that has ever come from it has been, as stated before, from the developments of counter-culture movements that were born explicitly to oppose it.

Just because I was born in America doesn't mean I have to identify with it and because I don't let that arbitrary identity blind my judgement of this country I can see it for what it really is.

America doesn't have a single, unified culture.

Cool story bud but decades of sociological study of American history and society says otherwise.

Yes, while regional variations exist, there are very distinct and apparent cultural norms of American society that are prevalent throughout this rotten country.

Quit being defensively ignorant and go educate yourself.

Here, I'll do you a favor and provide the link to the damn wiki article on it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_of_the_United_States

According to cultural geographer Colin Woodard there are as many as eleven cultural areas of the United States, which spring from their settlement history.

Strong cultural differences have a long history in the U.S., with the southern slave society in the antebellum period serving as a prime example.

Sure sounds like one unified culture to me!

Gee, it's almost like I mentioned that already. Those eleven areas, while each their own, are all still variations of the same prevailing culture that has spread across the country as a whole.

Can you not get so defensive about general observations of America as a whole and actually take an objective look at the country as a whole or is that just too much to ask?
