What is geoscience?
Geoscience (also called Earth Science) is the study of Earth. Looks like California picked up Canadas slack
Talking to people from california about wildfires boils my fucking blood. The rise in wildfires in CA in recent decades is a direct result of the stupid fucking NIMBYs who live there and oppose controlled burns to manage forest deadwood. Turns out, sticking your fingers in your ears for 40 years and pretending that forests will just magically manage fire risk by themselves is a horribly stupid strategy. You dont need to take my word for it though, you could always ask the native american tribes with heritage from the California area
