I think a riot or two is needed. Peaceful protests are all well and good, but are they actually achieving anything tangible.

I feel sorry for the military people having to bow and organise all of this, and the people taking part of course. It would be great if they just turned it into a coup and got rid of Agent Orange.

Edit....corrected the spelling of "coup".

Given that every single member of the military is oathbound to engage the domestic enemy to the constitution Donald Trump the same way they do any other enemy of the US, I don't think that would actually count as a coup. The kicker being the legality of their engagement.

...also not sure on this bit, but does coup vs not also hinge on their intent to claim the president's power after they hit him with him with an airstrike or six? They could just knock him out of the equation, then sit back and let the rest of the government get its shit together and govern benevolently.

There is the Adama approach. Military rule rule until a viable president can be found. But, historically, once the military seizes control they don't easily relinquish it. However, at least techno-feudalism won't happen.

You mean SpaceX has received grants from the government for years for key infrastructure while the political ideas of its management were not aligned with the military industrial complex?

How nice to see Adama mentioned!
