I'm more interested in the Frames, I always wanted to try and get into VR but it was always either too expensive or too Facebook.
The Steam frame is going to be expensive. They don’t have the luxury of scale giving them some pricing relief, and as the Steam machine shows, they’re clearly not too concerned about making their products good value, affordable, or competitively priced.
I’d say the frame will be USD$1500+, at a conservative floor for the price.
I hope not, no way I could get it if it's that bad. 😭
It’s going to have to be more powerful than the steam machine, with dual high res high refresh rate screens, so yeah it’s going to be significantly more.
