-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

A Japanese cosplayer shocked the internet after reportedly cutting off her boyfriend’s ring finger and keeping it in the fridge.

The woman claimed she “loved him too much” and did not want him to marry anyone else or exchange wedding rings.

The incident came to light in January when police in Osaka, located in Japan’s Kansai region on Honshu Island, received an emergency call from the 21-year-old victim, whose name has not been disclosed.

He reported that his girlfriend, Saki Sato, 23, had assaulted him after an argument about breaking up and requested help.

When police arrived at the flat, they found both individuals, with the man showing visible injuries on his left cheek and nose.

He later told the police that his left ring finger had been cut off by Sato, and that the severed finger was soaking in alcohol in the refrigerator.

Not sure if you're joking, but it's actually the right thing to do. Keeps the finger viable for reattachment

Unfortunately alcohol damages tissue.

I didn't even think about that, you're right. Keeping it cold is good (not frozen tho)

Yup exactly, ice crystalizing in cells damages tissue.
