A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.
A zero-tolerance policy for bigotry of any kind. Failure to respect this will result in a ban.

3 No capitalist apologia, anti-socialism, or liberalism, liberalism is in direct conflict with the left. Support for capitalism or for the parties or ideologies that uphold it are not welcome or tolerated.
4 No imperialism, conservatism, reactionism or Zionism, lessor evil rhetoric. Dismissing 3rd party votes or 'wasted votes on 3rd party' is lessor evil rhetoric.
5 No bigotry, no racism, sexism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any type of prejudice.
6 Be civil in comments and no accusations of being a bot, 'paid by Putin,' Tankie, etc. This includes instance shaming.

Is your suggestion that the American people take up violent arms against their government and the billionaires who control it?
Revolution isn't solely violence, violence comes in many forms. Physical, psychological, economic, sexual, and social. One of the tools that we have immediate access to is economic, we saw how quickly they started screaming during the start of covid lockdowns and how quickly things were teetering on collapse without our constant consumption.
Sure, but do you think our non consumerism can outlast their wealth? Is a large enough boycott feasible and sustainable?
there's a funny thing about positions of power: "Leadership," in of itself, is not the same as the qualities that are commonly used to acquire it. Charisma, Gravitas, Knowledge? These are all indeed things that make for "a good leader" but are not what DEFINES A Leader. For that you merely need one thing; one, simple thing:
People willing to follow you.
If you don't have that, then you can't call yourself "a leader," you're just some crazy person shouting from his soapbox on the street corner.
Casting off the Capitalist Oppressor is as simple as choosing not to purchase from them. Do not give them your time or your resources. Ignore the shackles of warranties preventing you from repairing what is rightfully yours. Refuse to pay their inflated prices for goods or services. When your boss fires you, refuse to leave, or go on strike. That is a kind of peaceful protest. But for these things to be more than talk, a grassroots network of support must exist to replace those things in a decentralized way. People must put into practice the hard work of growing and producing their own food. They must be willing to check on their neighbors and do what they can to support those who have less either by station or in terms of skills. Be willing to teach your compatriots skills they do not have, not for money, but because obfuscating knowledge or placing it behind a paywall is gatekeeping the keys of our collective freedom from us, which is philosophically repugnant. Sharing of yourself to improve a parsons abilities allows them to be more productive, and this productivity must surely benefit the many.
If you are in the military, noone is keeping you at war. Other than orders, you can just turn your ships around and return to port. If enough of you do it, they can't court marshal the ENTIRE military. Hell even a single battalion would be more paperwork than it's worth, and I doubt very highly that the Congress would be viewed very favorably for firing on one of our own ships, especially one that is peacefully conducting itself from point A to point B. Call it mutiny if you want, but Serving the constitution first, means that you are fully allowed to tell your Commander in Chief to go fuck himself if he starts violating that authority with in and under it.
