Ok, I start: I like synthwave, synthpop and sovietwave. And it’s not as much a question of focus as the fact music energized me, so lyrics are also ok and even welcome and I don’t get distracted at all.

sorry for the late response - neurofunk is a subgenre of drum & bass, I'm not sure where the "funk" part comes from but the "neuro" part is definitely how it makes your brain react when you hear it. its very synth-heavy, dark, fast, bassy music. if you arent into d&b at all it will probably just sound like a hot mess, but to some it's very good at getting you up and going/concentrating/energised =]
