You mean Eggs watching the rest of the kitchen from their private egg basket. I do not get why people put eggs in the fridge, they last a good amount of time just fine sitting out on the bench.

In us eggs are washed which apparently removes the protective layer and hence need to be refrigerated.

Also, apparently, if eggs are not washed, they last longer on the counter than in the fridge.

I eat them before the go bad either way.

How long do they need to last, regardless of where they are? Don't you eat them?

Is it bad somehow to put them in the fridge, even if unnecessary?
