The difference is that you block those community because you're not interested in them. In the case of a frontend, am I supposed to believe everyone who used it was uninterested in those topics, probably not, so why did the developer block them
because they want a front end that is more palatable to the average person?
you realize average folks loading lemmy, hitting all, and seeing anthropomorphized squirrels having graphic gay sex, would be offensive and upsetting to them, right?
Except that's bot what those communities are, yuri and wholesome yuri are both sfw communities and Lemmy.blahaj.zone is about trans people, nothing sexual
oh nothing sexual, why is it that before i blocked all that stuff i got to see lots of explicit fetish content anytime i clicked on all, some of borderline pedophilia too.
You sure you're thinking of the same thing cause you can take a look right now at both the communities and the instance and will find very little sexual content
i'm thinking of how many communities i had to block everytime i hit all until my block list was dozens long before I stopped seeing weird and gross crap from fetishists.
