I already see those mobile solar batteries on Amazon a lot now.
I might try to order one from AliExpress when I get to Spain or maybe find one on Facebook Marketplace in Zaragoza.
(...on another note, can we talk about how fucking expensive Amazon is nowadays? lol)
There's like dozens of videos on YouTube of people making backyard turbines using like, old dishwashers and shit. If you are lucky enough to love next to a stream where you can divert water downhill to generate pressure then you are set.

These units are kind of becoming popular. The battery plus inverter plugs directly into the wall and the input is low enough to not need special installation or permits or anything (for MOST states). Connect some panels to it and it's puts ina steady stream all day long. It'll charge itself during the day with the excess power it doesn't put into the house. Then pull from the batter through the night.
That's how it was explained to me anyway. Saw it posted on Reddit the other day. Been meaning to look more into it.

I assume they are coming mainly from Europe, Vietnam, China, and parts of Africa.

Probably all over. There's tons of dealers. I just linked ones from a post I had saved. Personally, I wouldn't worry about bifacial panels. They cost more then the extra power you would get under ideal setup, assuming you don't get real complicated with adding reflectors.
I would just use single faced panels. Set them on my roof facing south and angled at 30 degrees, and let them do their thing. Bonus they block light from the roof and keep it cooler, reducing cooling costs in the summer.
That being said, one could get real complex with bifacial panels. They actually work very well by placing them vertical facing south/north. One could put them vertical on their roof, given they have a very sturdy structural setup. Then, paint their roof white. This has the added benefit of keeping the roof cooler in the summer.

I would use this costing or a similar one for the roof. Guy in the video shows it reduced roof heat by 30-35 Celsius, which is insane. So the roof itself becomes a reflector and would boost panel efficiency.
