Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
Don't promote proprietary software
Try to keep things on topic
If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

Story about low priced Anko branded competitor to Meta smart glasses. The story author calls out that despite Meta's attempts to prevent recording if the LED is covered, it is easy to get around the block. I think it's good for mainstream press to say it, so more ppl realize. They also call out that human moderators at Meta review their smart glasses footage. Inc videos of people having sex or using the toilet.

IDK if public backlash will nix the market for these, or if opposition will dry up and in 10 more years they will be mainstream tech like smartphones are today. I could see it going either way TBH.

It scares me that one of those timelines leads to a hellscape worse than the one we already have.
