pls, everyone, be nice to new users. don't just remove their first post for being "off topic". we're already having a problem of not getting enough new users (link)

Should fediverse stay a niche "project" for idealists? Or should it become an actual alternative?

I would really like for it to become a proper reddit alternative, but that is not happening. Less because of the platform and more because of the people.
